CLEANING PROCEDURE

The well-being of our guests is always at the forefront of our minds and, following the Coronavirus outbreak, this has become even more important.

We are following all up to date health department guidelines when cleaning and preparing the accommodation. 

The Tomah Retreat housekeeping team are busy formulating an updated cleaning regime in line with government guidelines, which will mean changeovers will now take longer. We will, however, attempt to keep check-in and check-out times the same as always. 

You will also find complimentary disposable masks and cleaning materials in your room.

BOOKING STATUS

From the 11th of October 2021 we will be welcoming guests back to Tomah Retreat after the recent lockdown. Government regulations state that all guests who visit must be vaccinated. This rule will remain in place until the 1st December.  To ensure that guests are vaccinated we have the updated check-in QR Code in place and you will be asked to check-in using that QR Code. If you are not vaccinated then we ask that you do not book in until after the 1st December. If you arrive unvaccinated we will have to ask you to leave and we will be unable to refund any payments. 

If you are feeling unwell please make sure you have been tested for Covid-19 and that you can show your negative test results. 

REFUNDS

If your region or Tomah Retreat's region goes into lockdown you will be able to receive a 100% refund if your booking date falls into those lockdown dates. Outside those lockdown dates you will be able to cancel but will still be under the regular refund policy. Feel free to move your date forward to a new time.

RESTAURANTS OPEN?

New Covid-19 secure guidance for the hospitality sector means pubs and restaurants will be able to open provided they meet government criteria for keeping staff and customers as safe as possible.

This is obviously a very fluid situation so we advise you to call ahead to avoid disappointment.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU DEVELOP SYMPTOMS

You can check your symptoms here.

As a reminder, the main symptoms are:

  • high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
  • new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
  • loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal

Most people with coronavirus have at least one of these symptoms.

We are sorry but in order to protect our staff and other guests, you will not be able to self isolate at Tomah Retreat.

IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO TRAVEL

These are uncertain times and so if you are unable to travel due to government restrictions then we would be very happy to rearrange your holiday dates. Tomah Retreat depends on tourism and is full of small businesses like ours so of course, we would be delighted to welcome you another time.
